Call for Abstracts

Participants who wish to attend the China/US Eneryg Research Frontier Symposium are cordially invited to submit an extended abstract (no more than 2 pages including brief biography of author). All abstracts should be written in English and submitted on-line or through e-mail (hmyu@dicp.ac.cn). The deadline for abstract submission is October 15, 2008. The PDF version is necessary in case that the word version has problem on edit.

The extended abstract on the symposium proceeding will be printed in English.
Script Requirements for All Extended Abstracts
Manuscript: The manuscript must be typed single-spaced on A4 type paper. The margins are: top 72 pounds, bottom 72 pounds, left 90 pounds and right 90 pounds. The sizes of the title words are 14 pounds in bold, author's name 12 pounds and text 10.5 pounds. Spelling: British or American but not a mixture of both.
Title: Fewest possible words that adequately describe the content of the paper. Include a running title of less than 45 English letters which should also be supplied separately.
Keywords: 3-5 keywords should be given to serve as guidelines for indexing.
Tables and Figures: All graphs, diagrams and photographs should be referred to as "fig.1", etc., numbered in sequence as they appear in the text. All legends to figures should be typed in the places where the figures will be inserted. Provide tables typed single-spaced in the text. Number tables in the order referred to in the text.
References: These should be listed in the same order as cited in the text at the end of the text as follows:
-Periodicals: e.g. Ding, L. K., Ma, J. M., Mao, C. S. et al., Kolar events and their possible interpretation, Science in China, Ser. A, 1996, 39(10): 1077.
-Books: e.g. Day, F. W. Jr., de Gaulle, C., Smith, J. C., An Introduction to Ergodic Theory, 2nd ed., Berlin: Springer-Verlag, 1982, 72 - 85.
Acknowledgements: As brief as possible, in a separate section before the references, not in the text or as footnote.

The brief resume about the author should also be prepared in the abstract. The Personal Information, Photo, Education & Experience and Research Interests of the author should be included.
