Invitation to China/US Energy Research Frontiers Symposium

On behalf of the Chinese Chemical Society (CCA) and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the First CCS-ACS Bilateral Symposium China/US Energy Research Frontiers Symposium (ERFS) in Dalian, a beautiful city in the northeast of China, from November 4-6, 2008.

This symposium, supported by the CCS and the American Chemical Society (ACS), is the first one of a series CCS-ACS Bilateral Symposium, for both societies to foster long-term collaborative research and to present cutting-edge research addressing global challenges that may have chemistry-based solutions. The ERFS is organized by DICP, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

This symposium is expected to attract experts in academia, industry and government labs to foster research both from the U.S. and China in the fields of energy research, i.e., fuel cells, clean coal, biomass conversion and photo catalysis, etc. Opportunities will exist for researchers to exchange ideas on the frontier research related of energy.
